FOUNDER

Guy is an award winning professional singer and singing teacher based in London. He is an enthusiastic, supportive teacher with a detailed understanding of vocal technique across a range of styles. Lessons with Guy are engaging, fun and designed to help each student achieve their own individual goals. Guy is a registered voice teacher with the Incorporated Society of Musicians and a qualified Vocal Health First Aider.

In his performing career, Guy has sung as a soloist across the UK and Europe at venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall, St Stephen’s Cathedral (Vienna) and Barbican Hall. He won the Britten-Pears Young Artist Prize at the 2019 Wigmore Hall International Song Competition. Guy is also an experienced session singer and has recorded vocals for film scores, art installations and artists including Nightwish, Keith Urban and Classic FM. He has recorded at studios including London’s legendary Abbey Road.

Guy has a passion for music education and set up Workbox Music in 2020 to provide more opportunities for students in SW London. He has a wealth of experience teaching adults and kids from beginners to professional musicians. Alongside his private teaching, Guy has worked closely with the education departments of English Touring Opera and the London Philharmonic Orchestra.
