Katherine McIndoe

I am a soprano working freelance in opera and classical music in the UK. I’m originally from New Zealand, and moved to London six years ago to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Since graduating from the Opera Course there, I have worked with English Touring Opera, Glyndebourne, Garsington, If Opera, and Oxford Lieder, as well as performing at the Barbican, Wigmore Hall, Snape Maltings, Sadler’s Wells, and live for BBC Radio 3. I recently performed the title role of Lucrezia Borgia (Donizetti) in English Touring Opera’s 2023 production.

I have experience teaching singing and piano to children, and I am currently a cast member of Zoo!, a new opera written specifically for children with special educational needs by English Touring Opera, touring the UK and Luxembourg.
